Volunteer Associates work with us to promote Emergency Communications projects and training. Our Volunteer Associates have advanced communications skills and are actively involved in the National Information Management System response framework.
Most of our Volunteer Associates are qualified AUXCOM Radio Operators.
Professional Associates are highly qualified communications experts that have been thoroughly vetted and are recommended for deployment to assist communities in time of need or coordinate our community projects and training programs. Among the ranks of Professional Associates you will find many who have advanced NIMS Training and are COM-L, COM-T and COM-Rado Certified and many have qualified Level I event experience. Training is provided to interested individuals who wish to become a Professional Associate.
